EyeCOR Error updating - Return Code -2146697208

 

We have changed the way EyeCOR looks for certain files, allowing our clients to use EyeCOR on their Windows 7 systems with tighter securities than the other operating systems.  This change may effect all users with older update files.  Click the link below to update the EyeCOR Update program to correct this error.

Run this file

Click Unzip

Click OK when you get the message 1 file unzip successfully

Click Close

 

Then run the update as usual.

 

 

Error accessing the Fee Slip or the Interpretation and Reports

MSCAL.OCX not registered error when accessing the Fee Slip or the Interpretation and Reports.  this is caused by an incorrect version of MSCAL.OCX on your system.  To correct this:

Run this file

Click Unzip

Click OK when you get the message 1 file unzip successfully

Click Close

 

This is a compressed file that is defaulted to be placed in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ folder.

 

 

WINDOWS VISTA

EyeCOR runs under Vista.  However, as you know Vista keeps questioning you about applications you want to run.

Therefore, one setting needs to be changed for EyeCOR to operate. 

 

These steps must be completed BEFORE you load EyeCOR.

 

  1. Click the Start button

  2. Click on the Control Panel

  3. Once in the Control Panel select User Accounts

  4. Once in the User Accounts select “Turn user accounts control on or off”

  5. On this last screen, remove the CHECK MARK in the box labeled “Use user account control (UAC) to help
    protect your computer”
    [THIS MUST BE UNSELECTED]

  6. Click the OK button

  7. Close the Control Panel (your system may require you to reboot in order for the changes to take effect)

  8. Now Install EyeCOR
