Which Exam Type Should I Use?
Many doctors have questions about which exam type to use. To answer these questions, we have created a new feature in EyeCOR called Differences Between 92xxx Ophthalmic & 992xx E/M Exams. This compares the appropriateness and requirements for all the exam types.
You can access this from any Procedure screen as well as from the
Ophthalmic Reference.
You can review the different exam types as well as select a level of an exam and EyeCOR will identify which exams are appropriate. We have also included Tips that provide important information regarding coding and selection of exams. There is much more information available.
